My first experience of hunting when I just stable enough to walk without falling, my father had taken me up into one of his tree stands as we watched for deer to walk by. When I turned 6 years old my grandfather taught me how to use a 4 -10 shotgun that he taught my father with when he was younger. When I turned 16 I began to travel down to camp that my grandfather, father and uncles had founded and I started to hunt on my own. Out of all the Mississippi deer I have managed to kill from the first time I started to hunt. My biggest kill was 142’ 12 buck.
I am a 3rd generation hound hunter. I spend the majority of my time in Northeastern Wisconsin hunting black bears, coyote, and whitetail deer. My true passion is bear hunting with hounds. When I am not hunting I am working for the City of Peshtigo. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

The main things I hunt with my hounds are raccoon and coyote, but we also have a rabbit dog. I also show one of my hound dogs in the UKC competitions. I have grown up in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin my entire life, and started sitting in a duck blind when I was 4 years old with my dad. Once I was of age I began hunting ducks, pheasant, and deer. I picked up bow hunting when I was 17 and fell in love with it. On top of hunting, I take yearly fishing trips to places like Canada, Minnesota, and Green Bay. In the last few years I have picked up Ice fishing and really focused in on waterfowl hunting. When I am not hunting or fishing I am working as a Firefighter/Paramedic with Dousman Fire District and Fort Atkinson Fire Rescue, I also work as a Basement Environmental Specialist for Badger Basement Systems.
I started out going on deer hunts with my dad and my uncles when I was 8 in Northeast Wisconsin. When I was 16 my family was living in the La Crosse area and I got introduced into waterfowl hunting by some friends and now I am hooked. You can find me in the marsh most every weekend in the fall and when I am in my deer stand and the action is slow dreaming about late season mallards on the Mississippi River. I am also a certified Hunters Safety Instructor.
I am a Wildlife Major along with an Ag education major at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga. I have a passion to teach young adults about the importance of wildlife management, not just hunting, but how to identify skulls, tracks, what the game likes to eat and other signs of wildlife in the area. I love to teach and volunteer. I've volunteered to help DNR with youth hunts before. I really enjoyed it. I'm an avid hunter as well so I can show good spirit and show people the relationship between man and dog... In my case, woman, dog, and nature.
Hunts: Deer, waterfowl, doves, and upland birds.
